We left the hustle and bustle (and dirt) of London today and headed for the country! We were on a train for 4 hours. It was a really nice time for us all to unwind. We have been so busy these last few days. We got four hours to sleep, and read, and do whatever we wanted. Forced luxury!
Our home for the next thee nights is Windermere England. Its in the heart of the Lake District. We haven't seen much but what we have seen is breathtaking! We dropped off our bags at our B&B. We had some lunch and then set off on a hike. The worker at the TIC recommended an overlook of Lake Windermere. It wasn't an easy hike for Mom and I but with Jeri's help and encouragement we made it to the top! The view was probably one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
Tomorrow we are thinking about buying an all day fairy pass that will get us on any fairy boat so we can explore the beauty of the Lake District! Stay tuned!
